Since the travel time in the US is MUCH shorter I am meeting all my handling times-can't say the same for delivery within Canada with Canada Post-my latest defect is to a Canadian address.

I have been informed by 4 different reps that if there is a pattern they can recognize they will consider removing the late shipment defects. We too will lose TRS, and it will be April when we can have it back because December was a complete miss and we are waiting until December stat is out of the picture. ChitChats' answer to this situation is quite vague. Would be nice to hear from other folks who use ChitChat regularly. I didn't know about CC packages getting flagged at the border, as I haven't used them recently, I always wondered how they were able to get 100's of packages from CAN destined to be shipped via USPS across so easily, I knew it was bound to happen. My 100% ebay rating took a hit as well, have to wait 2 moths for it to reset. But I had to stop promising 3-5 guaranteed shipping. Some people understand but others will ruin your perfect score for a packaged shipped a few hrs to 1 day late, even if you explain about border delays they don't care, and don't bother explaining to Americans what chit chats is, it'll just make the situation worse. Just pretend you are shipping from NY. At this rate I wonder how much longer they can sustain their business model? It looks like skinnyp and roggy gave me a place to get my frustrations out about chit chat They have some outstanding people working for them and then terrible people who make you feel abused and you must turn to red flag for support. The thing is their shipping prices are amazing so truly the abuse is the price you pay. I signed up with chit chat last year not really ready to leave canada post but I had a good feeling after getting an email with prices. I even got a welcome call from a woman named christina who explained all steps we even shared some laughs she falls under the outstanding workers category. I was so excited she let me know I can use any location which is a strong point because I am always at different locations for work. Going into the locations you do not get the same welcoming feeling you feel like a bother you are rushed through the cash out desk and sent off lost. They are extra friendly to people who bring them coffee and cold to people who are new and ask questions hello not so outstanding category. What a mind mess! I am still shipping because heck who does not want to save money but everytime I walk in I am afraid I did something wrong and will get yelled at. According to my father a pale older woman with beady eyes and short black hair SCARY has yelled at my father for not sorting the mail I had him drop off he will not go back for me even he is afraid. Isnt their job to sort mail hello. I know there are other options for shipping but the locations are just so good for me. Bottom line is if you score a golden ticket and ask for christina when you call you wont be scared heck i even got a reply to an email from her she said she would help with any other questions which I truly believed and she has been able to provide answers to questions that I feel dumb for asking in store. They are way better then Chit Chat Express. They are more professional and courteous. They respect people big or small. The problem with Chit Chat is that the company was founded by a bitter old fashion man who was rude and crude. The kids took it over and have carried on the pompous attitude and until competition came into town they were the hottest thing since slice bread. Now that Stallion Express opened they are wishing they treated their clients better. MANY big high volume clients and tons of small clients have made the move and I for one don't regret it. I started with Stallion with 1 free week offer. They proved themselves and ever since its been great. Far better then Chit Chats hands down. Don't know if the week free offer still works but you can always try. They are just about 1 block away from Chit Chats and are open later hours on all days. Bonus for me as I work late. They also bring packages back from the USA if needed for a small fee. Great if you want to order in things from the USA. Hope that helps all fellow shippers from Canada. Emailed them twice and , received no response at all, either they are having some serious email server problem or I assume they don't want my business. They ran out of USPS Priority Flat Rate Padded Envelope when I was there so I had no choice but to go to Chit Chat. And the receptionist told me that I had to email them to order the envelopes. I had very high expectation because of all the praises here so I was kind of disappointed with the slow response time. I have tried changing my handling time from one business day to two business days eBay told me we can still achieve TRS status with 2 business days, but the 20% discount will not apply. Another thing I have started doing is providing a SCAN form with my shipments.
